Floral Design Workshop
Join us in our world of flowers for a memorable creative educational experience with flowers. Flowers make people happy and more content. They reduce stress and engage the senses.
Suitable for participants of all skill levels, in this 1.5-hour workshop you'll gain practical experience working with fresh seasonal flowers. Workshops blend hands-on practice guided by expert instruction in a stree-free environment so guests become absorbed in a creative flow.
- I provide buckets of organically grown flowers and all the tools, supplies and containers needed.
- The workshop covers basic floral design, as well as tips for keeping flowers fresh longer.
- Guests take home their arrangements.
We start with a leisurely stroll through the garden, where I introduce the flowers currently in bloom. Then we return to the studio where an abundance of blooms awaits ready for you to craft something beautiful to take home.
- Ours is a working flower farm. Please wear comfortable shoes that you don't mind possibly getting dirty.
- Dress for the weather. We recommend layers and sun protection.
- Workshops involve walking up to 100 yards on uneven ground and standing for up to 2 hours.
- We do not offer refunds for cancellations.
- Workshops proceed in case of rain, although we may limit time in the garden.
- In event of severe weather, requiring cancellation, I’ll notify you by email and promptly issue a full refund.
- While I can't guarantee a specific flower variety or color, I do guarantee a selection of premium flowers, grown organically and harvested mere hours before the class

Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals, as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death.
